Madonna is a great mother and a great entertainer but according to her critics, it looks like she can't be both. At least that's what the chart topper herself has said as she is defending her parenting skills to critics who say that her 15-year-old son Rocco Ritchie ran away from her simply because she drove him away.

According to her Instagram account on Saturday, Madonna has taken to social media to praise all of the "strong, single and hard working mothers" out there who are going through the same challenges she is facing right now, too. Rumor has it that the mother-of-four is gearing up for a nasty international custody battle with her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie. This is all because young Rocco supposedly prefers to be with his father and stepmother Jacqui Ainsley in London rather than with his mother in New York.

Sharing a picture with her four children, Lourdes, Rocco and her adopted children David and Mercy James, Madonna wrote, "Its possible to be an entertainer and a good mother!!! Too bad we don't live in a society where many encourage strong independent single working moms! The next great Frontier! #revolutionoflove continues #rebelheart4ever (sic).''

Some of her followers wrote, "Rocco was raised to have a strong and independent will and he's exercising it - I'd say you've done a pretty good job at raising him. Let him explore his options and just be there waiting for him to come back, in whatever capacity that may be," along with, "I'm sure Rocco has Madonna's temper & personality. That's the reason they are having issues but they'll be good again."

Another supporter wrote, "You have been an amazing mother. Instead of wanting your kids doing nothing but party and travel, you want them to work hard and get an education."
