Mariah Carey released her new song Almost Home on Tuesday, the lead tune off the Oz the Great and Powerful soundtrack.

During the chorus, the American Idol judge and mother of two sings about Dorothy, the lead character from the original movie:

"When you're almost there/ And you're almost home/ Just open up your eyes and go/ When you're almost there/ Almost home/ Know you're not alone/ You're almost home."

A video for the song will be released on March 8, the same day the film hits theaters. Almost Home is Carey's first single since 2012's Triumphant, according to MTV. The singer is expected to release an album this year, though no release date has seen announced.

Oz the Great and Powerful stars James Franco, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz.
