Production seems to be running smoothly for Switched at Birth Season 5.

'Switched At Birth' Season 5 Premiere Episode Gets A Title

On Wednesday, series creator Lizzy Weiss took to Twitter to post a photo of some of the cast members as they attend the first day of filming the fifth season. And based on everyone's appearance, they all look pretty pleased to be there.

It seems like the cast is preparing to film a scene in the Kennish kitchen with insight on what the storyline might be.

The last episode ended with some mystery, including how Toby and Lily are going to continue their lives as parents. Not to mention,Bay received a phone call from home, and she did not look happy to hear it.

At the moment, though, Weiss spoke with The Wrap on what having a baby will bring to the future of the series.

"The baby has been a big part of the season that we've touched upon a bunch of times, and has been part of our larger series conversation about difference," the creator said. "And it's just another strand for difference. It was just important that we end the first part of that journey. On the other hand, you're just beginning the journey. That is a really beautiful moment, and one of my favorites, not just in the episode, but in the series."

Switched at Birth Season 5 is expected to premiere this April on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
