While home in London for the holidays, James Corden picks up his friend Adele for a drive around the city singing some of her classic songs and gave an impressively quickfire rendition of Nicki Minaj's hit 'Monster'. Adele received some high praise from the rapper herself on Thursday as she took to Twitter clearly impressed by the Brit star's ability to spit rhymes.

As also showed by this video by Complex, Nicki Minaj applauded Adele’s “attitude & fingers” and apparently “cried when she waved bye to the careers.” As someone who used to pride himself on knowing every word and gesture to the verse, Adele nailed it. Elsewhere during the skit, Adele also channeled her inner Ginger Spice as she perfectly covered Wannabe.

Adele's singalong was part of a 15-minute segment on The Late Late Show and also features the 27-year-old talking about how she embarrassed herself after getting drunk over Christmas, and how she's bezzies with Beyonce - not to mention a brilliant rap rendition.
