On Tuesday, the actress added a new post on Instagram that appears to be a text message coming from her boyfriend, Paul Wesley. While the message wasn't specific on who it was directed towards, it gave the impression that Wesley was saying he was sorry for something awkward his girlfriend just did.

"Phoebe said she had chocolate sauce all over her face and didn't know when u went to the house," the message reads.

Paul Wesley Turns On The Heat For Phoebe Tonkin

In the caption, Tonkin pointed out how her boyfriend had to apologize for her because she might as well be four-years-old.

Tonkin has been working on CW series The Originals while Wesley currently stars on The Vampire Diaries. While some might wonder what it's like to work on a TV show, the actress revealed to Elle last May that it's pretty much like any other job.

"TV is a lot like having an office job: same crew, same people every day--it's like a family," she said. "I didn't move here to be on a job for three months and then sit around reading scripts and drinking coffee in LA the rest of the time. The quality of TV is so great now, and you get to do what you love every day."
