BET is getting in on the slam session against actress Stacey Dash, who once starred in the network’s The Game.

In its defense, Dash kind of took a jab at the network first.

The former Clueless star shared her thoughts on the drama surrounding the Oscars this year. Some actors and actresses (like Jada Pinkett Smith) have come forward to say they will not be attending the Academy Awards because of the lack of Black actors nominated.

Dash said, “I think it’s ludicrous. We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re Black.”

BET made it clear they weren’t feeling the idea of axing the network altogether.

So they reminded her that she used to be on the network at one point.
