Conan O’Brien pays tribute to his unofficial — and beloved — cast member Abe Vigoda.

Vigoda, who was often the subject of death hoaxes, was brought on Late Night With Conan O’Brien by O'Brien himself who thought it was laughable that such rumors circulated around the actor's life.

Vigoda, during one of his first Late Night appearances said, "I'm here to say one thing: I'm not dead."

Conan O'Brien's right hand man, Andy Richter tweeted, "We'll miss you, Abe," after the actor's passing on Jan. 26.

O'Brien opened the show on Tuesday night with a montage of Vigoda's best moments on the show.

"I couldn't believe how many times Abe would come on the show and do hilarious things for us," the TV host said.

He ended his tribute by saying, "Thank you Abe for all the laughter."
