Manning, who plays Pennsatucky on the Netflix series, sparked rumors Wednesday that she might be competing in Dancing With the Stars this year. The actress simply wrote the hashtag #DWTS on her Twitter account, and many of her followers speculated that she may be joining the dance competition series.

She has not tweeted anything since, but Manning is definitely keeping fans guessing.

There have been zero announcements thus far regarding the season 22 cast of Dancing With the Stars. Traditionally, the cast of a new season is announced a few weeks before the premiere, so we probably still have a ways to go before the official announcement.

Orange Is the New Black is typically filmed around the summer to fall seasons, so this wouldn't conflict with her filming schedule. And Manning's IMDb page shows that she doesn't have anything she's filming this spring.

Manning has gradually become a fan favorite on Orange Is the New Black. Pennsatucky was one of the villains of season 1, but as the series has gone along, her vulnerabilities have shown her to be a flawed but strong person. Her backstory episode in season 3, titled A Tittin' and a Hairin', is arguably one of the best episodes of the season, revealing her tragic past.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
