Jax Taylor got arrested on Monday's Vanderpump Rules, and afterwards, he was forced to face his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright.

Just a short time into their new relationship, the reality star addressed his shocking arrest in Hawaii, which came after he stole a pair of sunglasses from a local shop.

"It wasn't about, well, I have no money and I need to take some glasses so that I care for her. It wasn't about that," Taylor tells Cartwright in a scene from the reality series. "I don't know. I don't know why I did that. I really don't."

"Probably the most painful thing I had to see was her face," Taylor later explained during a confessional. "Her looking at me in sheer disappointment."

Also disappointed in Taylor was Lisa Vanderpump, his co-star and boss at SUR Lounge.

“Not his proudest moment, that’s for sure," Vanderpump revealed to The Daily Dish, via The Inquisitr. "I think it was a big shock to him. I really do. I think he was cavalier and he felt that he could pretty much do whatever he wanted. And I think that that was a large wake-up call. Also, I think feeling my foot up his ass didn’t help him because as sympathetic as I was, it wasn’t with him. It was for all the people around [him]. And, also, I felt that it tainted our show. That’s not what I want. And I understand irresponsible behavior, but, he took it too far."
