The Legally Blonde actress is reportedly to go on TV drama. According to Entertainment Tonight, ABC ordered 10 new pilots on Friday and among the TV show potentials is an untitled drama from Witherspoon's production company, Pacific Standard.

Reports also reveal that if the pilots gets picked up, the 39-year-old beauty would co-executive produce the series along with Meaghan Oppenheimer, who penned the recent Zac Efron film, We Are Your Friends.

The untitled project under Witherspoon’s act follows the personal and professional life of a ruthless divorce attorney in Dallas. Her life then begins to unravel when her emotionally damaged, love-addicted sister resurfaces triggering self-destructive tendencies and exposing long-hidden family secrets.

The so called-project wouldn’t be as hard for the promising actress for she already knows how deliver her own craft even playing the role as a lawyer in the movie Legally Blonde.

Moreover, not only Witherspoon has her own projects under ABC, the said company also ordered a pilots from all-star showrunners Shonda Rhimes and Kevin Williamson.

According to Entertainment Tonight, unlike the rest of Rhimes' small screen heavy hitters on ABC, her latest pilot to be picked up is actually a comedy, Toast.

In addition, Williamson's pilot, Time After Time, which will be included is based on the 1979 novel by Karl Alexander, chronicles the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells and his Time Machine using the book and its feature adaptation as a starting point.
