They are a popular team when it comes to their social media channels, and now, Korey Kuhl and Tyler Oakley are hoping their ability to work well together will help them when it comes to The Amazing Race.

The two friends, who are a part of the show's 28th Social Media-influenced season, talked about their strengths and weaknesses in a pre-race interview with CBS, revealing that their working so closely together on a daily basis definitely helps them when it comes to beating the other teams.

"We spend every day together and we met the day I made my YouTube channel, so we've known each other since the very beginning of all this craziness that's been happening online," Oakley said.

"We know each other's strengths and weaknesses, and we're not afraid to say, 'Hey, Tyler you're better at this, do this,' or 'I think it should be done this way, trust my lead," Kuhl added.

The pair also dished on how the experience will be a different one for them since, unlike on their YouTube channels or their Podcast, they can't control how they look to everyone else.

"This is the first time where we've been ourselves without being in control of the edit, and kind of putting it all out there--even the highs and lows. So I think there's a little bit of like, 'You never know what's going to happen,'" Oakley said. "But I have such a faith in our friendship that Korey's gonna recognize when I'm stressing out, and he knows exactly how to bring me out of it. And I think hopefully I'll be able to do the same."

The Amazing Race season 28 premieres Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
