Justin Bieber tweeted about how excited he was to celebrate his 19th birthday on March 1 but only hours later he returned to tell his millions of followers that the night ended badly.

"Worst birthday," he tweeted, in contrast to him earlier message that read, "Gonna be fun tonight. Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes. 19! Big night ahead."

A source at London's Cirque du Soir, where the Boyfriend singer was celebrating with friends including actor Jaden Smith and British singer Ella-Paige Roberts-Clarke, told Us Weekly there was a confrontation between Bieber's team and security at the club because of Smith, who at 14 was not old enough to get into the venue.

"There was never any mention of Jaden being there, so when he showed up, it caused problems," the insider said. "They could have stayed if Jaden left, but Justin wanted to be loyal to his good friend."

Many of Bieber's Twitter followers took to his social media page to express how sorry they were that his birthday celebrations were ruined. The 19-year-old addressed the supporting messages he received by posting on March 2, "I see and saw all the posts from around the world. U got me smiling. Love u. Thank u."

Bieber also retweeted a message by his manager Scooter Braun: "Life is a roller coaster. Just know when u dip low it is only to build excitement as u will fly high again. Enjoy the journey."

Some of the fan messages were as follows:

"We made him smile, that's all I want is his smile."

"We all know yesterday was a tough day, but today is a new day!! We all love you and are happy to make you smile <3"

"We will always be here for you,I love you❤"

"Justin we will always be there for you! (:"
