Preachers of Atlanta rocked the small screen when it made its highly anticipated debut on Oxygen Wednesday night; and the shocking drama is set to continue next week.

In a teaser for what’s to come in the sophomore episode of this season, controversial pastor LeAndria Johnson literally goes into the trenches as she dresses in provocative clothing in hopes of grabbing the attention of those selling their body for money and others. She prays for a man who is struggling with an addiction to alcohol.
And Pastor Kim Jones Pothier is facing her own struggle as her sons confess they are “ashamed” of their church. She let viewers know Wednesday that her church is social media for the most part. So she often uploads inspiring and encouraging videos for her followers.
The drama continues for Pastor Corey Hambrick and his wife and they found out their daughter is dating a much older guy. It doesn’t help matters that he said he answered why he was with her.
“I like her smile, I like her body. “
Hambrick clearly wasn’t feeling her answer.
“Tread very lightly bruh.”
The show sparked lots of controversy when its first season debuted and featured the West Coast installment, Preachers of L.A., back in 2013. Since then, Preachers of Detroit has premiered on the network, making Atlanta the third of the franchise.
