A few new characters are about to be a part of new moments on Switched at Birth.

Angelo Returns To 'Switched At Birth' For 100th Episode

On Wednesday, TV Line announced that three actors will be joining the series for the fifth season for different storylines. One character will be Noelle, a tattoo artist that Bay wants to work with. The second character will be an English-speaking doctor named Ling who Bay and Daphne meet during their time in China. The third is Luca, a college student who Regina bonds with; he is also expected to be in multiple episodes.

Noelle will be played by Valery Ortiz known for On the Up, American Latino TV and Date Movie. Ling will be played by Gwendolyn Yeo known for American Crime, Castle and The Magic of Ordinary Days. As for Luca, the actor portraying him is going to be Michael Galante whose credits include Boy Meets Girl, Between Blood and Penitence.

Is There Going To Be A 'Surprise' In Upcoming Episode Of 'Switched At Birth?'

It was also announced from TV Line that Bay and Daphne's other father Angelo (Gilles Marini) will be returning to the series for the 100th episode. It's unclear though on how that will work since Angelo died from a car accident. He may appear in a flashback, dream or in someone's imagination, but only time will tell from here.

The last episode of the series had Bay receiving a call from home that didn't sound like good news.

Switched at Birth Season 5 is expected to premiere this April on Freeform.
