Ciara has been staying quiet while her ex-fiancee and the father of her child, rapper Future, has slammed her in the media when it comes to the baby and her long-term romance with Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson. But now, she is hitting him where it hurts.

The singer has officially taken legal action against Future and is suing him for $15 million after he came for her on Twitter and allegedly in his songs.

TMZ broke the news Monday and said that Future made the disses so more people would buy his music.

She mentioned times that Future accused her of using Wilson and their child for publicity and used his latest Twitter message against her in the lawsuit. Future tweeted recently, “This b**** got control problems…I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future…the f*****y for 15k a month.”

Ciara shut down his claim and said she does all she can to ensure that the father and son have a healthy relationship and spend time together. She said they have seen one another roughly 20 times since since December of 2014. Some of these visitations lasted several days.

TMZ pointed out that Future was just with the child last week as Ciara and Wilson enjoyed vacation time together.

So now, Ciara is suing for slander and libel. She also wants Future to be ordered to snatch down the tweets against her and wants him to stop making their private issues public.

Future has not spoken out about the lawsuit yet.
