Another former character from Switched at Birth is reportedly returning in the fifth season.

Angelo Is Coming Back To 'Switched At Birth'

While it was already announced that Gilles Marini, who played Angelo, will appear on the series for the 100th episode despite the fact that the character is dead, it turns out someone else will be back- someone who is also unexpected to return.

On Saturday, the show's Twitter page teased that Max Adler (who played Tank) will be returning. It wasn't revealed why, but time will tell what goes down that road.

Can Viewers Expect A 'Surprise' On 'Switched At Birth?'

Tank didn't exactly have the greatest ending on the show ever since that controversial moment when he and Bay hooked up after a party. Due to excessive drinking and not giving any consent, it led to questions on if this was considered sexual assault or if it was something more casual.

Tank ended up getting expelled from school where he showed up again and had a dramatic conversation with Bay. So now there are questions on what could possibly be happening to where he'll be needed again.

The last episode of the Freeform drama involved Bay and Daphne in another country where they receive a phone call. It wasn't revealed who called or why, but Bay's reaction made it look like a serious situation to where she and Daphne would have to return home.

Switched At Birth Season 5 is expected to premiere this April on Freeform.
