The drama from the Grammys is still a hot topic, and Wendy Williams has spilled tea on the real reason Rihanna was MIA that night.

While Rihanna tweeted her apologies to her fans for not showing up, reports claimed that it was because Rihanna was sick with bronchitis.

But Williams has another side that she shared on her daytime talk show earlier this week.

“I say she was scared that Beyonce would go in there…Rihanna had no idea what Beyonce was gonna do…She’s a tough girl until she has to run scared from people like Adele and Beyonce. She should have been in the building and just womaned up and did what she was supposed to do. For all Rihanna new Beyonce was going to go and drop new music and steal the show.”

In reality, Beyonce simply presented the Record of the Year award and didn’t hit the stage to perform. Still, Williams said that Rihanna should not have let Beyonce’s presence intimidate her from skipping out on the show.

“You don’t run from show stealers. You show face and act like you’re not scared…Even when you’re scared.”

As for the real show stopper, Williams said it was Gwen Stefani, who did a live music video on the stage.

“All in all, I enjoyed the Grammys…What I saw of them.”

She also clapped it up for rapper LL Cool J who hosted the ceremony for the fifth year in a row.
