LeAnn Rimes posted a message about Brandi Glanville's son on Twitter recently, and as usual, she caught major backlash for doing so.

Although it's been seven years since Rimes and her now-husband, Eddie Cibrian, the ex-husband of Glanville, engaged in an affair on the set of Lifetime's Northern Lights, Glanville still doesn't appreciate Rimes' social postings about her sons, and neither do her fans.

After her message was shared, Rimes was confronted by fans who felt she was setting a bad example for Glanville and Cibrian's children due to them spending long hours at home, rather than having normal jobs.

"Thursday and no adults in you heavily mortgaged house working. What a sh**ty example to set for any kids," one woman wrote.

"Brandi is teaching them right. Good thing bc their dad is worthless and bogus mom a homeschool fail," added another.

A third suggested "no-job/career @EddieCibrian should start paying attention."

Meanwhile on Instagram, Rimes ignored the backlash, and revealed to fans she was sick.

"I can hardly speak," she explained on Thursday. "My studio session got cut very short today. It's amazing how your life and your well laid plans can suddenly change in seconds. I know everything happens for a reason, so I'm trusting in the reasons I cannot understand at this moment. Sending you all big love and hoping you are well. "
