On Tuesday, Barcelona will attempt to do something that has only been done four times in Champions League history against Milan: come back from behind in a first leg deficit of two or more.

Not many anticipated Barcelona, a one-time favored team, to be in this predicament when the draw was made for the round of 16. However, Milan put up a near flawless performance at the San Siro three weeks ago to keep Barcelona's offense at bay during their 2-0 win.

Following the surprising upset Barcelona continued to struggle, suffering back-to-back losses at the hands of Real Madrid that saw them eliminated from the Copa Del Rey and their lead reduced in the La Liga.

Up until its showdown in Milan, Barcelona's season looked to be going smoothly, with another Liga crown all but guaranteed. However, the team already went nine games without maintaining a clean sheet and that number soon become 12, a number that showed a lack of focus from the squad.
