It’s no secret that Tamar Braxton has been adamant about not having more children after giving birth to her and her husband Vincent Herbert’s son Logan. But now she’s singing a different song.

She said in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly that her recent health scare is what changed her mind.

“I could’ve died. I’m just now feeling back to the old Tay, finally…If you asked me before I got sick, I probably would’ve said no. But now I would love to have more kids. I just have to get 100 percent healthy first.”

Interestingly enough, Braxton wasn’t really sold on carrying her own children to begin with. In earlier episodes of Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince on WeTV, she made it clear she wanted to focus on her career. She even suggested her sister Towanda Braxton be a surrogate for her, which Towanda actually agreed to! But she and Herbert ended up having Logan, who is now two years old. And it’s safe to say that he is her heart. So it’s no surprise that she changed her mind about having more kids after her health scare.

She added that she is finally starting to get that rest her husband, mother and sisters urged her to indulge in.

“When I’m exhausted, it’s time to ‘chillax.’ If things get overwhelming, I don’t feel bad about telling people that.”

Braxton’s health became critical during her nearly reigning spot on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, so she was unable to complete the season.

She said that her health isn’t the only reason she has opted not to return.

“I have self-esteem issues from being bullied in school, and when you work hard on a dance the last thing you should hear is criticism. I love the show, but I don’t think I can do it again…”

She ended and let fans know she feels "amazing” and “blessed beyond measure.”
