Galatasaray vs Schalke takes place in the Champions League on Tuesday night with the German side slightly on top after managing to claim a 1-1 draw in the fight leg in Turkey, claiming the all important away goal.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 8.45 p.m. German time, and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.

If the scores remain at 0-0 tonight then the German team will progress at the expense of the Turkish champions.

However, Schalke 04 will be missing striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar because of a knee injury, which will make their jobs a little harder. Huntealaar, 29, tore a ligament in the Bundesliga win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday and was carried off on a stretcher. According to reports he will not require surgery but is expected to be out for several weeks.

Galatasaray are hoping to reach the last eight of Europe’s top football competition for the first time since 2001.

However, the German side will not be easy to get past, especially playing in front of their home support tonight.

"We are in a good position before the second leg, but the draw is only going to be worth something if we reach the quarter-finals,'" said Schalke coach Jens Keller.
"But the guys proved that they were the better team.''

Turkish league leaders Galatasaray have not been in the best form of late - only managing to claim a 1-1 home draw in the first leg against the German side, and then more recently they suffered a home defeat at the hands of Genclerbirligi at the weekend. In that game January signing and ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba missed a penalty, and they will be hoping that he can keep up his habit tonight of scoring in the big games, as he had done for Chelsea over many years.
