Rooney Mara Oscars 2016: Twitter Lights Up Over Star Wars Hairstyle, A Nod To Rey?
Rooney Mara brought a little bit of a galaxy far, far away to the Oscar's red carpet.
This year's San Diego Comic Con will no doubt be swarming with Reys of every age, but we didn't expect a version of the heroine's hairstyle to pop up as film's best and brightest strut the red carpet on Sunday.
Nevertheless, the Carol star showed off Rey's triple loops while donning a Givenchy gown. It wasn't long before Twitter noticed the Star Wars nod, whether intentional or not, and fans were thrilled to see Daisy Ridley's look far from the sands of Jakku.
