In a recent interview with the International Business Times, Michael Kelly, who plays Doug Stamper,

"Donald Trump in general is scary as shit, that being said, Frank and Doug would take his ass down," he said. He also added that he didn't like Trump.

"I can say that this season is incredibly exciting and addictive," he said.

Kelly also spoke about how he was obviously very different from his character in real life, and how sometimes the Doug Stamper association can be difficult off camera.

"You can see that this is me, I am a happy dude and you can see that that disarms people really quickly, when seeing me or meeting me," he said. "That being said I have really gotten in an elevator before and not in the best mood or distracted by work or what have you, and stepped in and had someone on their phone, and then do a quick double take and be like 'Jesus Christ, I just for one fleeting moment thought that I was in an elevator with Doug Stamper and got really scared!' that happens it does happen."

Season 4 of House of Cards is set to return on March 4.
