Angela Bassett recently revealed another detail about her upcoming character for season 6 of FX's American Horror Story.

Angela Bassett Talks What Made One Particular 'American Horror Story' Season So Great

Bassett spoke with Collider while promoting her new film, London Has Fallen, and touched on her season 6 character.

"I think I might be psychic," she teased, of her new character (in the video below). "But it can all change. We don't start filming until June this year, so anything is possible, everything can change between now and then."

Angela Bassett Will Make History In Season 6 Of 'American Horror Story'

The actress previously spoke about her character being an "alcoholic" and had a connection with Sarah Paulson's character.

"[Executive producer Ryan Murphy] did tell me at the Golden Globes that I would imbibe a little bit too much and yet I was very intuitive also and maybe Sarah [Paulson] somehow was the boss of me," Bassett said in a Entertainment Weekly interview.

So is Bassett really playing an alcoholic psychic in the new season? It certainly wouldn't be the most outrageous role she's had on the series, having played a three-breasted woman in Freak Show and voodoo priestess Marie Laveau in Coven. Most recently she played an actress named Ramona Royale in Hotel.

More season 6 details will likely be revealed in the weeks to come, perhaps at PaleyFest, where Bassett and many of her co-stars will convene to discuss the series on Sunday, March 20. Actors expected to appear include Bassett, Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Denis O'Hare.

American Horror Story season 6 premieres this fall on FX.
