Ed Sheeran Falls on Stage During Taylor Swift Red Tour, VIDEO
Ed Sheeran took a fall on stage during the opening night of Taylor Swift's Red tour in Omaha, Neb., on March 13.
The singer performed on stage and attempted to do jump from one speaker to another during his song You Need Me, I Don't Need You. However, he slipped and fell face first in front of the audience. He then got back up and kept singing.
Sheeran did not address the slip via Twitter on the day of show and instead revealed that he was suffering from flu symptoms. He tweeted on March 13, "Flucinating" and later "this flu is making me dream the weirdest s--t, dunno whats going on." He also posted a photo of the Omaha audience taken on stage during his Red tour performance, with the caption "Day #1 of the RED tour: Omaha!!"
Swift was also joined on stage by her tour headliner for their duet Everything Has Changed. Swift and Sheeran played again in Omaha's CenturyLink Center on March 14. They perform Monday in St. Louis and the 66-show tour will continue on until Sept. 21, when Swift will have her final performance in her hometown of Nashville. She will stop in 47 cities in 29 states.
