General Hospital actor Ingo Rademacher and his partner Kym Johnson danced a contemporary routine in the season 16 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, which aired Monday on ABC.

They scored 20 out of 30.

The television star follows in the footsteps of his General Hospital cast member who competed in past seasons of show. Kelly Monaco won season one of the dance competition and in the season 15 All-Stars season, she made it to the top three.

The German-born actor, father and husband is competing alongside, athletes, singers, comedians and reality television stars in the new season of DWTS. Season 16 premiered Monday from 8-10 p.m. and the first elimination episode will air Tuesday, March 26.

Rademacher tweeted on Monday in anticipation for the DWTS premiere episode, "here we go! gonna be a long day ; - ) i wanna crawl back into bed. please : -)"
