Another No. 5 seed, the Wisconsin Badgers, has bitten the dust in the NCAA tournament. The Ole Miss Rebels rode a 19-point effort by guard Marshall Henderson to a 57-46 victory.

The Badgers carried a 23-12 overall record into the big dance this year and were 12-6 in the Big Ten, but ranked just 206th in the nation in scoring. They were even worse in field goal percentage, where their 42.6 percent mark ranked them 211th in the country. Their inability to make shots came back to haunt them in their second-round matchup with Ole Miss; they were 15-of-59 from the field, good for slightly over 25 percent.

Sam Dekker led the Badgers in scoring off the bench with 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting in 20 minutes of floor time. Dekker was the only Badger to reach double-figure scoring; Jared Berggren and Traevon Jackson were next in scoring with eight points each. The loss snaps a string of six consecutive opening round wins for Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament.

Ole Miss was a 27-6 bubble team leading up to Selection Sunday, but erased all doubt by taking down the third-seeded Florida Gators in the SEC championship game. The Rebels averaged 78.2 points per game entering the matchup, but struggled against Wisconsin's defense. Ole Miss only made 39 percent of their shots, and were 3-of-15 from beyond the arc but survived because Wisconsin's shooting was worse.

Henderson's final totals were not impressive, 19 points on 6-of-21 shooting, but sank back-to-back threes in the second half to tie the game at 36. He also hit a layup followed by two free throws to seal the victory late. Forward Reginald Buckner helped the Ole Miss cause by nearly posting a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds.

Ole Miss moves on to face the winner of No. 4 Kansas State against No. 13 La Salle. La Salle defeated Boise State 80-71 in a play-in game on Tuesday.
