Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes definitely have a foolproof system when it comes to keeping their baby news under wraps for extended periods of time! 

The couple is expecting a second child together, multiple sources and news outlets have confirmed, after she was reportedly spotted initially hiding a growing bump during an L.A. photo shoot in February.  

As news began swirling of a second pregnancy yesterday, Mendes was also spotted covering her mid-section with a large bag as she met up with Gosling in a parking garage. She made a similar move when news broke of her first pregnancy back in 2014.  

It is currently unclear how far along this pregnancy is, but knowing the couple's tendency to keep things under wraps, and basing things on their first pregnancy with daughter Esmeralda, Mendes could already be much further along. News broke of the first pregnancy in July 2014, and their daughter was born in early September.  

It's unlikely the couple will reveal any other details about their second bundle of joy to the press either, as details about Esmeralda, including her name and the fact that she was a girl, were only leaked after her birth when a copy of her birth certificate surfaced.  

The couple has also kept their daughter hidden from the spotlight as much as possible since her birth, with the only first real look at her face provided when they took her trick-or-treating this past Halloween.  

The couple met on the set of the movie The Place Beyond the Pines back in 2011, and had what seemed to be an on/off relationship ahead of their first pregnancy announcement. Mendes' absence at big events, including Gosling's promotion of his directorial debut Lost River (which she starred in) at the Cannes Film Festival that year, had led many to believe the two had broken up. Her not being present during any awards season shows this year, which saw The Big Short actor in the same room as his ex-girlfriend, Rachel McAdams, several times, since her film Spotlight was also an awards contender, did raise more questions about their relationship again as well.
