Avril Lavigne is continuing to do just fine following the split from her husband.

It was announced last fall that the pop star and her spouse, Chad Kroeger, were ending their marriage after two years. While this would typically be a devastating time for them, at least one of them seems to be thinking positive about where she is at the moment.

On Sunday, Lavigne took to Instagram to post a photo of herself visiting Bahamas. With a remarkable sky around her, the singer looks pensive and entranced on the beauty there is to see in the world.

In the caption, she wrote that she is feeling "healthy" and "peaceful."

Meanwhile, Lavigne and Kroeger are still spending time together as they attended the Juno Awards in Canada to discuss where their relationship stands and what brought them to the event.

"I'm not performing at the Juno's, I'm here with Chad supporting him," Lavigne told Entertainment Tonight. "And for me, it's exciting to be getting back, and Chad and I have a great friendship and we started together in the studio working and we still work together, so it's important for us to just keep that relationship."

The two stars also had some health scares in the past year when the "Complicated" singer was diagnosed with Lyme disease and the Nickleback rocker had throat surgery. But no matter what comes across their lives, the rock stars will always care for each other. When the times get tough, they still do what they can to work it out in some way.

"That's life, right? Full of ups and downs," Lavigne said. "We love each other and we always will."

Lavigne was also married to Deryck Whibley. She was Kroeger's first wife.
