Quantico might have just knocked another NAT off the suspect list.

Will (Jay Armstrong Johnson) completed his mission for The Voice, but building the terrorist's next weapon left the agent fighting for his life. Although he looked like a walking corpse in the final moments of "Fast," the Harvard grad ended the episode with a thready pulse.

"He's not in a good way... but if he's alive or dead you have to wait to see," series creator Josh Safran told Entertainment Weekly. "He's not dead in the moment that he drops, I'll say that."

If Will does kick it, he'll become the first of Quantico's pre-finale deaths. If you thought all the reveals, deaths, and cliffhangers were going to go down in the eleventh hour, you need to go back to the Academy. Your sleuthing skills could use some work.

"Characters will perish previous to the finale," Safran promised. "We did not save everything for the finale. I really believe that starting with the next episode, you can't miss a moment."

Wondering what Safran's talking about? Check out what's in store for "Drive":

"With only a few weeks until graduation, the NATS are dispatched to various field offices where Alex and Ryan find themselves working a case together," ABC teased. "Meanwhile, in the future, Shelby and Caleb's relationship takes a turn, and Alex doesn't know who to trust when she discovers new information about the man she loves."

Unfortunately, it does not look as if a certain ailing rocket scientist will pop up in episode 20.
