More will be revealed about the mysterious LokSat as Castle moves forward to its season finale.

Monday night's episode of Castle will set things in motion for uncovering the mystery behind LokSat. Showrunners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter spoke about this in a new Entertainment Weekly interview.

"We do get another bite at LokSat with Caleb Brown [Kristoffer Polaha], the defense attorney we discovered was connected to LokSat in episode 10," Hawley said. "We do get some great moments between Caleb Brown and Beckett [Stana Katic] in episode 19, which drives us toward the final episode."

During the episode, Caleb and Beckett will ultimately find a clue that will help lead them to LokSat.

"There's a confrontation that sets the stage for [the finale]," Winter teased. "Like we promised at the beginning of the year, we're going to answer all the questions as far as who LokSat is, and what's really going on."

Winter added that the person behind LokSat is "probably the biggest big bad that we've had on Castle," adding, "He or she has access to lots of money, lots of mercenaries and he [or she] has the ability to twist things in his or her way, so they have to be very careful when they're trying to take down someone like that."

There's not real indication that we've even met LokSat before in the show's eight seasons, and the showrunners are happy to keep things that way.

"We're trying to keep LokSat as mysterious as possible," Winter said. "It could be someone that we met this season or previous seasons. The hope is that it's a surprise to our audience when we find out who LokSat is."

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
