Justin Bieber Banned From Vienna Club After Bodyguards Allegedly Smash Cameras, Phones And Grope Fans
Justin Bieber's troubling month in March has already spilled over into April, as a recent incident involving one of his fans has led to the Canadian pop star being banned from one of Austria's most popular clubs.
Local reports say that Bieber was at the Passage nightclub in Vienna on Friday night while in Austria as part of his Believe tour's European stretch. However, the singer got into trouble when, according to ABC, the singer's entourage and bodyguards smashed fans' cameras and damaged their cell phones.
According to the report, members of Bieber's security detail were even accused of groping clubgoers who were at Passage on Friday night.
According to The Austrian Times, during the singer's sold out show at the Vienna Stadthalle, several of his fans needed medical attention, including one who was hospitalized overnight after suffering from hysteria.
When reached for comment regarding the Vienna incident, Bieber's representatives declined comment, according to ABC.
The maligned singer sat down recently with Us Weekly as part of an interview that the magazine published last week and attempted to explain what he considered to be misunderstandings.
"The biggest misconception about me is that I'm a bad person, I get upset about that," Bieber told Us Weekly. "I have a big heart. I want to be a good role model, but some people want me to fail. I'm young and I make mistakes. That's part of growing up. I mess up sometimes. It's part of growing up."
March was not a great month for Bieber, who had a heated run-in with a paparazzi photographer, collapsed on stage and received backlash from his usually unwaveringly loyal fan base after starting a concert late.
One of his neighbors also accused the singer of battery and alleged that Bieber had spit on him and threatened him. The claims may lead to Bieber being prosecuted, according to recent reports.
According to an email to Gawker from Bieber's neighbor, the incident stemmed from a loud, new car Bieber was driving around the neighborhood.
The pop star was also in the news this week after visited his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez at her L.A. home before the European tour in Germany.
