It looks like the storyline of an ugly affair and drama between Beyonce and Jay Z on her successful Lemonade visual album may have had some truth to it.

According to a new report, Queen B based the references of infidelity used throughout the album on real issues that she experienced with husband Jay z.

“They definitely went through a rough patch,” an insider told People magazine Tuesday.

Still, all is clearly not lost for the power couple.

“They came out stronger in the end,” the source added.

It’s no secret that cheating is a theme that rings true for many of Beyonce’s hits in Lemonade, which marks her sixth studio album.

In fact, the beehive is still trying to figure out who to sting when it comes to the woman Beyonce referred to as “Becky with the good hair.”

They have gone as far as attacking stylist Rachel Roy on social media--along with celebrity chef Rachael Ray (who fans clearly mixed up with Roy).

Roy spoke out about the speculation for the first time Tuesday in an exclusive statement to People.

“I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest," she told the celebrity magazine. "My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”

She added that she wants the media to see cyber bullying as the “real issue.”

Meanwhile Jay Z’s stylist, June Ambrose, let fans know that Roy is completely innocent.

But the latest alleged mistress is singer Rita Ora. She took to Twitter to shut down those claims.
