In an effort widely seen by many to reinvigorate his campaign and flight against Donald Trumps growing momentum towards the inevitable Republican party presidential nomination, Ted Cruz has just announced that former Hewlett-Packer CEO and former fellow candidate for the GOP nomination Carly Fiorina.

"When you run for president, one the most solemn choices you make is the choice you make for vice president," said the Texas senator during a rally Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis. "The characteristics you look for in a vice president are indeed the very same characteristics you look for in a president."

Cruz then listed variety of principles and characteristics he valued in a vice presidential candidate. "After a great deal of time and thought," he said "I have come to conclusion that if I am nominated to be president I will run on a ticket with my vice president Carly Fiorina."

The news leaked hours beforehand and quickly became a trending topic on twitter. Most everyone on the social seemed to express the same opinion: the the move was a desperate last-ditch effort and a bad idea;
