Priyanka Chopra has become the first Bollywood actress to be signed by top talent agency CAA.

Chopra, a former Miss World, is one of Bollywood's leading actresses and most recently starred in the 2012 hit movie Agneepath. The 29-year-old beauty is also an aspiring singer who is set to release her debut international album on Universal Music Group/Interscope and Desi Hits! Inc.

"This is a great follow-up and there should be some fun stuff coming up. Basically, I am an actor so it did make sense to have representation in terms of movies or entertainment in any way," Chopra told The Hollywood Reporter. "Everybody on my team thought that it made sense to be covered on the movie front as well. CAA was excited to come on board so we went with them."

Chopra's singing career is sure to be off to a good start; her manager, Troy Carter, also manages Lady Gaga.
