Will Leah Messer and Corey Simms' custody battle ever end?

While the former couple appeared to make an agreement to share custody of their 6-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah during an episode of Teen Mom 2 earlier this month, things between them have now taken a turn for the worse and on Monday night, they were seen at odds once more.

“Leah and I have sat down at least one hundred times probably and tried to work this crap out, and it’s never worked in six years and it never will work, probably,” Simms explained to his dad Jeff, according to a report by MTV News on Monday.

Meanwhile, Simms' ex-wife was just as upset.

“Today I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian,” Messer told her sister, Victoria. “I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else. No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian.”

Messer continued on, slamming Simms for hurting their children with his ongoing efforts to gain more rights to their children.

“To do what he’s done to my kids, I — I — I don’t — I don’t care if he takes another breath! And I don’t know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That’s all I can do,” Messer explained.

Messer's ex-husband filed for full custody of their twins in 2014 amid rumors of her potential addiction to her pain medication.
