Corey Simms and his daughter, Aleeah, went on a hunting trip over the weekend.

Along with the Teen Mom 2 star's father, Jeff Simms, Corey and Aleeah, 6, hit the road in hopes of hutning down a few turkeys, but unfortunately for the group, they were unable to get a thing.

"[Three] generations of turkey hunters. No luck in the woods today but saw 3 while driving home!" Jeff wrote on Instagram on Sunday, along with a photo of himself, Corey and Aleeah.

Although the hunting trip was deemed unsuccessful when it came to catching turkey, Jeff shared a number of photos on Instagram throughout the weekend, and judging by the photos, everyone had a great time.

"Aleeah Grace had a time today going turkey hunting. #memoriesmade #aligrace," Jeff captioned the photo below.

Corey is currently splitting custody of his twin girls with ex-wife Leah Messer, but judging by a new sneak peek at tonight's show (seen below), that may soon change.

“Corey filed these papers. He turned around and filed an injunction to be the primary custodian,” Messer tells her sister, Victoria, in a sneak peek shared by Starcasm earlier this month. “I spoke to him after the hearing, and everything went great! You know, we were actually kind of communicating, and thought that we were going to be able to co-parent the way we used to.”

“Today I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian. Who cares? Why are you making a big deal out of nothing?” Messer continues. “I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian. You know, to be civil… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else.”

“I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian,” she adds.
