In what should be a highly competitive game on the baseball diamond, the Detroit Tigers (3-3) will take on the Toronto Blue Jays (2-4) at Comerica Park in a Tuesday afternoon regular season showdown.  Anibal Sanchez will be taking the mound for the Tigers while Brandon Morrow will get the ball for the Blue Jays.

The MLB baseball season will continue on for 162 games per team that will be played over the course of 180 days.  From April until September, 30 ball clubs will compete for the chance to advance into the playoffs and ideally into the World Series in October.

Over the course of the season, ball clubs in both the American League and National League will face off against each other in six interleague play series.  Prior to 1998, the only time the respective scenario could happen was in the Fall Classic.

The 2013 All-Star game is set to take place during the middle of the season at CitiField, the home of the New York Mets.
