Jay-Z has responded to critics in a diss track geared at politicians who criticized him and his wife Beyonce's recent trip to Cuba and addressed the rumors surrounding his new sports management agency, which many concluded he would be selling his share of the Brooklyn Nets team.

The power couple came under hot fire when they traveled to Cuba to celebrate their 5th year wedding anniversary. Yahoo reported that Americans are generally forbidden to travel to Cuba under Cold War era-restrictions typically referred to as an embargo. U.S. visitors can only travel to the island for news-reporting purposes or on cultural missions.

"Politicians never did sh-t for me / except lie to me, distort history," Hov said after boasting and rapping in his song that he "done turned Havana into Atlanta."

The Treasury Department however said the power couple's trip to Cuba was legal under a licensed program that references "meaningful contacts" with the Cuban people, according to ABC News.

Enstars reported earlier that the Watch The Throne singer may sell his 1% share of the Nets, while he embarks on his new profession as a sports agent.

The rapper recently partnered his Roc Nation Sports company with Creative Artists Agency so that he has a team of agents to talk with NBA prospects.

Reports stated that the Brooklyn-born rapper will sell his share of the Brooklyn Nets so that he can start signing players to his agency.

In the diss track, he referenced the controversy surrounding the rumors that he would dropping the Nets.

"Would have brought the Nets to Brooklyn for free, except I made millions off of you f-cking dweebs/I still own the building, I'm still keeping my seats," he raps.

Swizz Beats and Timbaland produced the song, in which Swizz can be heard saying "right!" and "God damn it!" throughout the track. He also repeats the line "Y'all goin' learn today," a line Jay picks up later in the short song.

Music producer Timbaland expressed his excitement and tweeted on Thursday:

"i told yall i was just gettin started. ha jt was just the beginning #openletter #yallgonlearn2day lets go!"
