The world has heard a lot of rumors regarding the drama surrounding Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's divorce, but this one has to be the most disturbing. There's a new report indicating the Hollywood actor supposedly tried to "suffocate" his wife during a blow out fight they had recently.

According to the New York Post on Wednesday, sources close to the actress say that she "feared for her life" after the ex-couple had a violent fight that allegedly resulted in Depp throwing an iPhone in Heard's face. The incident occurred only two days before she decided to file for divorce from Depp and a day after the actor's mother, Betty Sue Palmer, passed away.

One friend dished, "This incident really stuck with me because she confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow," adding that she also "got to her apartment to find her with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head."

If that weren't enough, another close friend says Heard is telling sources that Depp also punched a hole in a wall during another drunken episode of his. His injury after the punch was so bad that he supposedly had to have a pin inserted in one of his fingers, halting a movie shoot of his for over a month as he recovered.

And while no one has made any claims prior to Heard's divorce filing, many of her friends are now alleging that they have "personally witnessed the aftermath of Johnny Depp's violent and abusive behavior towards her on many occasions."
