Sorry, McRollins shippers; Catharine Rollins's Hawaii Five-0 return won't play out quite as you hoped.

Hawaii Five-0 is cooking up something special for the 150th episode, and it involves the return of Steve McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) former flame. The Five-0 leader quickly learned that life outside the military didn't suit the retired Navy Lieutenant, and even the prospect of marriage wasn't enough to keep Cath (Michelle Borth) on the Island. Last we saw Rollins, she was headed off on a top-secret mission.

When Borth's character returns for the milestone episode, it won't be to mend a broken heart.

"People are interpreting it like her coming back into the relationship and starting all over again, but I just don't think that can happen after all that these two have gone through," executive producer Peter Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly. "Her relation to the story is more plot driven than reigniting that relationship."

So, what is Cath's role in episode 7? There are plenty of international storylines the globetrotter could slip into, including the mystery of Wo Fat's father, the return of CIA operative Doris McGarrett, or the debut of a new MI6 agent.

Rollins was originally slated to return in the season 6 finale ("Pa'a ka 'ipuka i ka 'upena nananana (The Entrance is Stopped with a Spider's Web)"/"O ke ali'I wale no ka'u makemake (My Desire is Only for the Chief)"), but Lenkov was afraid the story would retreat familiar territory.

"I brought her back in the finale [of season 6], and I didn't want to replay that moment of him laying on his deathbed and her coming in, because it would feel very similar to last year, even though it was not a life-and-death situation, it was Kono's (Grace Park) wedding," the EP explained, according to Entertainment Weekly.
