After feverishly attempting to hide her newborn baby from the public spotlight, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally allowed the media to get a glimpse of her little girl.

The mother didn't even use a scarf or her very own hand to protect the baby's face from the paparazzi.

The Indian media had spotted the Bachchans upon their arrival to the Mumbai airport, following their U.S. holiday getaway.

While father Abhishek Bachchan strolled ahead of the pack, the easy on the eyes mother carried her baby girl, who had been born on Nov. 17.

The infant's face was unveiled in full view as she confusingly glanced at the media frenzy unfolding in front of her. The mother's parents pulled up and the entire Bachchan clan rapidly got into the vehicle.

Abhi-Ash was en route to Vancouver for a movie awards show, and then headed to New York to celebrate their six-year wedding anniversary.

Prior to the baby's reveal, Aishwarya had gone out of her way to shield her daughter's face from the public.

According to Emirates 247, her previous attempts at keeping her baby incognito were solely to protect her from the photographers' bright flashbulbs.

"With my baby with me, it's instinctive. If I see her getting startled or her eyes opening I protect her," she told the media.
