Despite the objections from his family, Eric (John McCook) has not only rehired Quinn (Rena Sofer) at Forrester but resumed their relationship, and now, the pair will celebrate their reunion and the fact that they are getting what they want despite having no support on The Bold and the Beautiful.

After the objections continued, Eric took things one step further and ordered Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to move out of the mansion so he could take it back, and now, he and Quinn are utilizing the free time they have together as the only occupants of the home to enjoy some romantic time together.

"Ridge won't be a problem tonight. It's just you and me," Eric says to Quinn in a preview clip for the Wednesday, August 17 episode. "I'm so happy and it's all because of you."

However, the celebration the two have planned won't necessarily be given a chance to last long, as Eric's family is not giving up when it comes to making Quinn stays away from him, with the biggest critic of the relationship still Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who wants her mother-in-law out of her life for good, and is now warning Wyatt (Darin Brooks) that she could be tempted to stoop to the same level of tactics that his mother has used to get her way over the years.

"Her language is threats, and I'm going to start speaking it if she doesn't stay away from my grandfather," she says in the clip.

Wyatt will try to assure her though that it won't ne necessary, as he will be the one who takes care of things, and he promises to get through to his mother so that she stops ruining their lives.

"I'm going to make her not accept that job offer and she's going to end any romantic involvement with Eric once and for all," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
