He thought his mother would listen to him when he told her that being involved with Eric (John McCook) could jeopardize his marriage to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and now that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) has learned that things are only getting stronger between Eric and Quinn (Rena Sofer), he will go to give his mother an ultimatum on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Steffy has started expressing her doubts that he'll be able to put a stop to Quinn and Eric's relationship, making it more important than ever to him that Quinn does what he says. But when he finds her at the Forrester Mansion with Eric and learns that she accepted his offer to live there with him, Wyatt will be stunned silent.

"She brings happiness and joy to my life, something that I didn't even know was missing," Eric says to him in a preview clip for the Thursday, August 18 episode.

Wyatt will then ask to speak to his mother alone, and he will use the moment to tell her that she is not going to move into the mansion, this time warning her that doing so would not only destroy his marriage, but their relationship as well.

"It doesn't matter what you say, it doesn't matter how you feel," he says in the clip. "You cannot move in here."

However, even if Wyatt can manage to get through to his mom and be the one to put a stop to the new couple's bliss, it may already be too late for him to salvage what's left of his relationship with Steffy, as she is finally admitting more and more to wanting to be with Liam (Scott Clifton), and some of her own loved ones are working to try and make that reunion happen .

"I think that you're the real love of my sister's life," her brother, Thomas (Pierson Fode) says to him in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
