The parents of 7-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson are getting married on Sunday in a "Cinco de Mayo" themed party, according to TMZ..

Nine years after the couple met in an online chat room, June Shannon and Mike Thompson, known as Mama June and Sugar Bear are tying the knot in McIntyre Georgia, with the event to be filmed and likely aired on an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, reported Us Weekly. Those attending the wedding are forbidden from using cell phones and cameras, and from video taping the event.

According to a Yahoo report, wedding guests are asked to arrive in “full redneck attire,” with hot pink or camouflage patterns.

"A lot of people say they can relate to us," Shannon told Ryan Seacrest during a radio interview in August 2012. "Our fan base tells us that when they have a bad day they can be able to watch our show and be able to get a good laugh; I honestly laugh at the show too because it is kind of funny, because we know we have fun filming it. It's just all about having fun making memories."

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo features Alana, a participant in a child beauty pageant, with her mother, father and three older sisters.

The family became famous after appearing on Toddlers and Tiaras, a program on TLC which follows the lives of child beauty pageant contestants and their families.
