Kat Dennings appeared on Chelsea Lately on Monday and revealed that she secretly went out on a date with Canadian rapper Drake after being by bashed by his fans on Twitter.

The Two Broke Girls star shared the details of her get-ogether with the Young Money rapper with host Chelsea Handler on her late night talk show. When Handler asked Dennings to explain the rumor that the rapper pursued her, the CBS star first shared a story of being attacked on Twitter by his fans.

"Let's get this right. Drake was super nice and said something about me on Twitter or something," Dennings said, before explaining she originally met him in Toronto while shooting an indie film when she was 19.

Drake sent her a tweet in "140 characters or something" and she didn't see it until hours later. When she went home, she saw that she had 50,000 new followers on Twitter "out of nowhere" thanks to his mention of her on Twitter.

"I looked at my app and...can I say a curse word?" she asked Handler. "(Drake's fans wrote) 'F--k you Kat Dennings!' and "You can't take Drake from me, he's mine.' And I'm like 'I'm literally not trying to take Drake from you.' And then I realized what had happened and he's super super nice."

Handler then asked a series of questions about their interaction.

"Did you get penetrated by him?" asked Handler, and Dennings replied that she did not have sex with Drake.

"Why? Do you not want to date a rapper? Whats your problem?" asked Handler, who dated rapper 50 Cent in 2010. "Was it a date?"

"Well..um..we had sushi," Dennings confessed. "It was a hangout, it was hangout..he was gentleman, he was cool...but we were being followed by a black SUV with his security dude."

"Why do black rappers always think they need security? Handler joked, and Dennings replied, "I think he does need security!"

Drake revealed he had a crush on Dennings in an interview last year. When asked what his birthday plans were at the time, Drake told ELLE, "I'm gonna invite Kat Dennings. I'm in love with her. She's really funny. But I think she's dating someone."

Interest in Drake's love life peaked when it was revealed that the June 2012 brawl between his entourage and Chris Brown's in a New york City nightclub stemmed from jealousy. Drake dated Rihanna shortly after her split from Brown when he assaulted her in 2009.

When recently asked about his ongoing beef with Brown, Drake told East Village Radio: "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I'm more popping than him and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap."

"I did what a real n***a would do and treated her with respect," he added.

He made headlines again when actress Amanda Bynes professed her love for Drake on Twitter.

"I want @drake to murder my vagina" Bynes tweeted on March 21.

The Started From The Bottom rapper has yet to respond to her comments.
