The Star Wars saga is unstoppable, from its latest episode VII, 'The Force Awakens', comes episode VIII with a final release date of December 2017.'The Force Awakens' garnered $2.066 billion making it another box office hit, then continues on their production of Episode VIII as early as February 2016. 'Star Wars' Episode VIII will definitely follow Episode VII's fate because of the continuity of Rian Johnson's work being the sole writer and director.

With this development of Lucasfilm in contrast with Disney's Marvel Studios, wherein directors don't have the full control to reign in on their creative ideas, it just shows that the uniqueness and freedom of the filmmaker contribute much to the film's success.

Now that the production has already wrapped up for Episode VIII, leaks and spoilers came rushing in from bystanders and fans who cannot wait for the movie to be released. While filming an action scene on a beach in Northern Ireland, IBTimes reported Mike Zeroh's post of a video in youtube with Chewbacca standing, somewhat waiting for a cue from the crew.Chewbacca is apparently holding his crossbow out, while the scene is being shot in a helicopter's angle, not sure if the Knights of Ren will attack in that scene. The uploader thinks that Chewbacca may have been tasked as a lookout by Luke and Rey, something that viewers would like him to see in combat.

The fighting scene will take place on the planet Ahch-to where Chewi and Jedi were last seen in "The Force Awakens". Another juicy spoiler for Chewbacca was recently reported by FXnewscall of a possible loveteam in-the-making for Chewbacca/MazKanta. Actress Lupita Nyong'o candidly accepted the possibility of this in an interview by Yahoo Movies but this has not been confirmed by even by the production.

With 12 months left to Star Wars Episode VIII, fans can't help but expect more news about the next intergalactic movie. As more and more teasers come popping elsewhere just to satisfy their sci-fi hunger.
