According from a report by  PlayStation Lifestyle the headset for PlayStation 4 is supposed to be released for holiday 2016 but Sony pushed the release date of the device in January 2017 worldwide. 

The Platinum wireless headset can offer players more exciting gaming experience because it creates the utmost audio for virtual world. Players can hear everything on their gameplay because the gadget is made using the 3D audio technology. The headset has dual microphones, noise distracting feature and extended battery life intended for long hours of gaming.The headset is also built with foldable design and a 3.5 jack that can be used together with the Sony VR or other compatible mobile devices. Gamers can also download a companion app from PlayStation and get exclusive audio modes.

Though the headset is not yet released,Sony recently released a number of gadgets. Based on a report by GAMESPOT makers of the PlayStation gaming console released the new PS4 Pro,PS4 Slim, and the updated PS4 controller and camera. These gadgets will be available for holiday 2016 and was introduced to the public during Sony's trade event last September.

Play Station gaming consoles are popular worldwide for over 20 years.
