"Fast and Furious 8" is in the final stages of production and although loyal followers of the movie franchise may want to see Paul Walker drive a car again, that may no longer be possible. How does the Walker family feel about this?

There have been rumors that Walker's character may be making a cameo in "Fast and Furious 8." After all, the blockbuster hit franchise is never complete without Bryan (Walker) in it. However, according to GameNGuide, seeing Bryan in the upcoming installment may just be out of contention already.

The Walker family expressed how they feel on another digitally enhanced technology to bring Paul back to life in the "Fast and Furious" sequel. The actor's family made a decision not to go through the same path of giving the deceased actor life in the movie. Since Walker's character has been given the best exit the production could ever do, there was no reason for them to call him back to action in the eighth film.

Paul's untimely death from a car accident left a huge hole in the film franchise, especially during the shooting of the seventh installment. Walker had already started filming his scenes when he suddenly passed away.

The production made the decision to not write his character off. Instead, they enlisted the help of Walker's brothers to film Brian's remaining scenes. Post production enhancement made it possible to replace his brothers' face with his to give the effect that he was still the one in the movie.

The remaining characters are certain to move forward with their own storyline sans Brian O'Connor. However, fans can still expect that although they will not be seeing a technologically enhanced Walker in the film, the people behind "Fast and Furious 8" will find a way to honor the beloved actor's memory.

"Fast and Furious 8" is set to premiere in theaters in April of 2017.
