The odds are high for a "Ghost Rider" series or movie. After the Marvel superhero made an appearance in "Agents of SHIELD" season 4, fans started to call for his own TV series. Netflix is the top pick of aficionados to produce the said show or film.

Gabriel Luna portrayed The Rider in "Agents of SHIELD" and his Robbie Reyes version became an instant hit to Marvel fans. According to Comic Book, this prompted viewers to rally behind a call for a new "Ghost Rider" show with Netflix as the choice to helm it.

Luna was interviewed regarding the possible new series and the actor confirmed that the project is more than likely to happen. The 33-year-old Texan also revealed that an arrangement is already in the works to make the series or film a possibility.

When Luna was asked about the transition from being with a team to having a solo gig, he said, "I don't  have a preference. People talk about 'Ah man he'd be great as a feature,' which is [an] idea, too... It could be in the cinema, it could live on Netflix, whatever it is."

On the specific subject on getting a solo "Ghost Rider" film or show, "The Wicked" city actor disclosed that Marvel Studios already outlined the possible franchise. Talks and meetings are taking place and deals are being negotiated.

In the meantime, Luna is currently focused in getting his character done right in the ABC series. His character is currently a recurring cast in "Agents of SHIELD" and he wants to finish the episodes before thinking about the solo deal.

When asked about additional appearance in the Marvel series, Luna stated, "If they throw more episodes on my plate, I will do my best to do well with those stories as well."

"Ghost Rider" was first introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2007, when Columbia Pictures distributed the film that starred Nicolas Cage. It had gained bad critic reviews but earned more than $200 million in the box office. A sequel was released in 2012.
